Food for thought

18. I think it would be pretty hilarious if Chad Ochocinco (formerly Chad Johnson) of the Cincinnati Bengals got traded to the Detroit Lions. The Lions have retired the number 85, which belonged to Chuck Hughes. I am guessing that the narcissistic Ochocinco would change his name again to Ochocuatro or something like that.

  1. I think getting traded to the Lions should be the new league-wide punishment for criminal and drug infractions. It's probably worse than not being allowed to play at all. "Off-field incidents" would drop to zero.

  2. What if members of the Lions do something bad? How can they be punished worse?

And what about law-abiding members of the Lions who have done nothing to deserve going 0-16 last season and 1-8 so far this season? Will they be paid for time served or something?
